I had a ScanDisk Ultra 2 gig sd card in my Lumix FX18.
But when shooting RAW it only did 100 or so pics, the Transend card seems just as fast and gives plenty of capacity for a good days shooting.
The card reader works fine as well.

arrived in good time. had it a few months now and it's been working fine. Haven't had a chance to max it out but have had a few gigs of photo's on it at one go. use it in a panasonic dmc-tz5 and it functions fine - including all video modes.

Good starting point for your dSLR, 2008-10-10
Got one of these to use in my dSLR (Nikon D60), I can fit just over 600 images on this at max resolution, when shot in RAW and JPEG.

Works well, by a good brand, just make sure your device is SDHC compliant before getting one of these.

Any smaller a capacity, and you'd need to be carrying several cards when away on a photographic weekend. For this reason, and the good price I gave it 5 stars.
