Average rating of 5/5 Smashing Little Point and Click Camera, 2010-07-11
This has most of the functionality of our larger Sony camera, but is highly portable. It takes much, much better quality photos than our previous slimline pocket camera (a Casio Exilim) but is only slightly bigger (it fits in the same case so to all intents and purposes when in the case it is the same size). We've not tried out the 'waterproof' bit of this, but it is reassuring to know that it can handle getting wet.

We've been very impressed with this and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Average rating of 5/5 Amazing., 2010-07-25
First of all, i'd like to clear up a few negatives that have been left by other reviewers, this TV is amazing, It will play .MP4 video files, i've just done it. what you need to do is register the device as a DivX device by getting the registration code from the TV's menu and registering the device (TV) on the DivX website, all instructions are on the TV's menu. User manual & instructions can be downloaded from the SONY website as a PDF file and either viewed on your PC or printed as a document. As for the sound quality, its far superior to our previous Bravia flat TV and that one improved with use, this new TV has a rich deep sound and on the default settings is a little basey if i'm honest, but this can be adjusted in the options. The XMB interface for the menu's etc is very intuitive and easy to use especially if you have ever used a PS3. The picture is absolutely astounding, especially when viewing HD content such as Bluray. it really has to be seen to be believed. We also have a PS3 and a SONY A/V reciever which was also purchased from Amazon and the are all connected using HDMI cables and it all works together beautifully via Bravia Sync. The TV's remote will alter the sound on the reciever and when the TV is switched to standby, the reciever also shuts down. If the TV is already on and i turn the reciever on, the TV's sound is automatically turned off in favour of the sound from the TV going through the reciever therefore getting surround sound from the TV. All in all, i whole heartedly recommend this TV, you won't be disappointed. Sony reciever used STR-DA2400ESBSony STR-DA2400ESB 7.1 Channel AV Receiver in Black

Average rating of 5/5 Sony DSCH55B Cyber Shot Digital camera, 2010-07-19
Outstanding camera does everything it claims and more, it gives outstanding results picture quality second to none. Only niggle is that it doesn' have a eye piece for framing your picture you have to use the LCD screen however this seems to be the case with most of the Sony range of cameras. Do not let this put you off its without doubt the best little digital camera around and incredible value for money from Amazon.

Average rating of 5/5 Quality MP3 player, 2010-07-29
I was bought this for my birthday by my good lady. As I teach alot of studio classes (spin, boxercise, bootcamps, circuits etc..) it is a fantastic way to hold all my various workout discs on one unit & not have to carry round endless amounts of cd's that inevitably get scratched. The player itself is a lovely compact unit that feels good in the hand, found that the controls are easy to get to & the navigation round the various menus etc.. very easy. The other thing is that the drag & drop type facility is easy to do or you could just sort it all through Windows Media Player (which I do), couldn't be simpler. The sound quality is fantastic, both through my headphones & when I connect it up to the studio music units. Personally I can't fault it but then again i might be a little biased as I've bought Sony stuff in the past & have had no probs whatsoever. Since recieving this as a gift I've bought a few add'ons like a protective leather wallet (Easyi) & a charger, both of which are fantastic accompaniments. If you are looking for a quality player & don't want to spend a fortune then you can't go wrong with one of these.

Does exactly what it says - you can use this adaptor to conveniently read your MS Duo cards in the MS card readers.

In fact, I discovered that MS Duo cards can be read in my MS card reader without the adaptor, but they don't fit very well this way. I had some concerns about possible damage on the card. Having the adaptor is well worth it.

Average rating of 5/5 What a Revolution, 2010-07-19
I bought this device because we travel for many weeks at a time each year and carrying 30 books in a 75 litre backpack is tiresome to say the least, although we do give them away as we go. So, asked for this for my birthday and it's brilliant. I love books, read all the time and wondered how I would make the transition but after the initial first pages, I forgot what I was reading the words on and lost myself in the book. I have used it many times now and can't praise it enough. I did so much research before buying and had favoured the Kindle at the outset but, as with another reviewer, I got concerned about not owning the books because Amazon yanked off a couple of titles from ereaders because of copyright issues. That's like you paying for something, them coming into your house and taking your book from your shelf. They restored them but said they couldn't rule out it happening again! The books stay on my computer all the time and are copied onto the Reader; that way I have a backup too. Not so with Kindle. I have downloaded over a hundred books for free as they are in the Public Domain; it's good to revisit old favourites and have the chance to read others - at no cost. I have bought several books from W H Smith which, once I got my head round the system, worked very well. I still read paper books, you just need to look on it as what's convenient at the time. Love it, love it, what more can I say.

Average rating of 5/5 just the job, 2010-07-30
I was looking for a fairly compact, no 'bells and whistles' DVD player - and this was it. I've just replaced a TV/DVD player which was combined, partly because it was quite small and I've got to the stage where I couldn't actually make out what was happening all the time (old age creeping up) but also because I was tired of having to turn the volume right up when I was watching a DVD because the drive was so noisy it drowned the sound of what I was trying to watch and sounded like it was impersonating a jet taking off. Yes, I used subtitles, but sometimes they're quite off putting because they're not always correct!

So that, for me, was pretty important - I wanted something unobtrusive and quiet. And fortunately, this seems to have fitted the bill. Fortunatly, the 'other people have also bought' bit recommended I get a scart lead too - which I didn't have because I was replacing a combi - and the DVD player came with batteries for the remote.

Does all the bits I need and didn't cost a fortune. Ideal.
