Excellent except for manual, 2009-01-06 Really it is very hard to find fault with this product. As a minor niggle the EPG doesn't display channel number, but how trivial is that if it gives the full name? Given that it is a single tuner machine it will do all reasonable combinations of more than one thing at a time, e.g. record while playing back. One it won't do is dub from HDD to DVD while recording something else, but this is hardly a big issue. It has lots of options for recording and indeed for other operations too, but it is actually very simple to install and use if you are using it for digital reception only and with an HDMI TV, and the default option almost always works fine. The only good things about the manual are that at least it is an actual printed thing and not just on CD, and in English only. Otherwise the print quality is poor, the logical structure is poor, there are few useful hints, and the descriptions of the more complex operations are not easy to follow.

:), 2009-01-08 I bought this system for the girl next door, she loves it, as I have Sony NASE35HD Giga Juke Hi-Fi system. This is a good micro hi-fi system to me, even if I have one more update technically, I say this good quality sound, very easy to use and there are no probs with it,
I hope that this helps

- SONY SOFT CARRY CASE FOR SLIM CYBERSHOT
- IN BLACK
Fits perfectly for the W-Series Sony Cybershot, 2008-08-14 Not much to talk about for a camera pouch. I purchased one of these to fit my Sony Cybershot W-130 camera. Honestly, the camera fits perfectly and is just slightly bigger than the camera to make the pouch very portable and fit the camera perfectly.
The pouch is very soft in the inside to avoid scratches to the camera and very comfortable to hold on the outside. Overall the pouch has been designed very well and is definitely a worthy buy. Threes also a pocket in the front of the pouch to add additional camera accessories. Worth my money.

Excellent product, 2009-01-09 Sony NWZ-E436FB 4GB Drag & Drop MP4 Video Player with FM tuner in Black
My Sony MP4 video player was delivered 2 days ago and it is like comparing chalk with cheese if you compare it with my old MP3 player. It is amazingly small and compact - you can hardly believe it is possible to get so much technology into such a small piece of equipment.
I particularly wanted FM radio - it tunes into all the channels automatically and the sound quality is very clear.
It was amazingly easy to drag and drop music to it and you can search it by album, singer, etc, which makes it so easy to find the music you want, unlike the old MP3.
The easiest way I have found of downloading BBC iPlayer to it is by first downloading it to your computer, then use the Sync in Windows Media Player to your Sony, open the downloaded programme in WMP and save it there, then drag it over. For me it didn't work to simply drag it from the desktop, but this is easy enough.
The controls are so easy to work and the display is bright and clear with icons so you can choose pictures, FM radio, film, music, etc.
Anyway, I am so impressed with this that I have now ordered another one for my husband who was green with envy when he saw mine!

Great kit, Great price, 2009-01-06 The other reviews say it all, except what to do when you want to connect it to another Sony (or probably any make) of TV without a digital or optical audio link out. Without it the TV and DZ260 wont work seemlessly together. I had a Sony KDL32S3000 TV purchased from a local Sony dealer in late 2007 but it only has the analogue audio out.
Calling the local dealer met with 'I dont know', maybe you cant connect them together! Calling Sony got me a definate 'no you cant connect those together sir, even though they are both Bravia systems'
So if like me you have a TV with a HDMI socket but no optical or digital coaxial audio out, just the old analogue (dual phono) sockets the way forward is in the form of a TV ONE 1TAP216 ANALOGUE STEREO AUDIO TO SPDIF CONVERTER - a little box that converts the analogue signal to either coaxial or optical. I got mine from the really helpful people at Keene Electronics (01332 830550).

Easy to set up and picture brilliant, 2009-01-09 I bought a Sony 32V4000 LCD tv and decided to go for the Blu Ray player too. I purchased the tv and HDMI cable from amazon which I received the next day, but got the player from elsewhere as £20 cheaper.
I have been really impressed with Sony set up. Just fill in the options and away you go!
My tv isn't 1080p and the 1080p option won't work or downgrade on this player. For 720p/1080i tv like mine set for 1080i. I went for the 32v4000 over the 32w4000 mainly owing to price but also that you don't see the benefits for 1080p unless the screen is above 32" apparently (friend of a friend who manages a Sony shop).
I put in an old DVD (Lord of the Rings) to test and the picture has blown me away. The upscaler appears really good and the picture so much smoother than the old DVD player I had. I will probably borrow my mate's Blu Ray Indiana Jones to see what the difference is with that. He uses PS3 on a 46" Sony X series and the picture is really awesome.
Also the size of the product is good and not bulky at all.
Overall I am really impressed with the Sony products I have bought (previously Toshiba 28" CRT/DVD/Video owner) and would recommend them.

So good I bought it twice!, 2009-01-09 This is a wonderful bit of kit!
Bought one for my daughters birthday as her IPod had decided to pack up AGAIN and she has been happily dragging and dropping her music without any hitches and praised it highly.
I`m a long term Sony mp3 fan,had the excellent 20gb NW-HD3 which served me well out in all weathers(I`m a Postie)until it met with the washing machine(don`t ask!)and died,I had a NW-A300 20gb but the battery is slowly dying after 3 years use,so decide to buy this little beauty.
It`s so easy to use,the sound is fantastic, earphones are top quality and really comfortable,I usually can`t stand in the ear but these are excellent the battery life is amazing, video is stunning and crystal clear!
The only slightly annoying thing is that after using Sonicstage for years I had to convert all my files from Atrac to Mp3 which took nearly 2 days as I had so much music!

Wise choice, 2009-01-08 Had this for three days now, extremely impressed with the features and quality - I specifically wanted a TV that did 1080P via Component (as my '360 doesn't have an HDMI output), and think I made an excellent choice.
The image quality when running games is fantastic (having come from a Thomson 28" CRT, which I always thought looked pretty good anyway). Glad I chose this over the 37" Toshiba model I was also looking at.
Other reviews have stated that the sound is lacking; personally, I think it's fine - both for games and films.
In summary: plenty of config options, plenty of inputs, very happy with the service from Amazon.
