Fantastic Camera, 2010-07-28
I've now had this camera for a month. And in that time, I've had it here, there and everywhere with me. Its certainly waterproof as I've used it to video myself jumping off a pier and also whilst out on several Kayaking trips. This resulting in me having some spectacular pictures! So glad I bought my camera when I did as I had it for My Kayaking Symposium and also another Kayaking weekend afterwards. Also very glad at the fact that if my friend hadn't broke my other camera I'd never would have bought this one :)

Great Camera, 2010-07-26
This is my second Fujifilm Finepix bridge camera, bought to update my old S5700 which was 7 megapixels with 10x zoom. This newer model has many of the same great features as my older model, but with very significant improvements. The screen is larger and clearer, the camera has greater light sensitivity and has a new panorama mode which is great. I also like the more manual flash as it means there is no need for the natural light mode. The main reason however why I bought the S1900 is the lens. Mainly because it is much more wide angle, (5mm compared with 6.2 on my S5700). This is equivalent to a 28mm lens on a DSLR. The 18x zoom means the lens goes upto 90mm (compared to 62mm on my older camera). This is equivalent to a 500mm lens on a DSLR. Given that you can manually control the shutter speed, ISO and appature I feel that unless you are a professional photographer this camera does all you would ever need and is a better bet than a DSLR given how much you would pay to get the lens etc.

Lots of makes of sd memory on amazon probably nearly all made in the same factory too so most of you will search on price this stacks up well on value it comes with a 5 year guarantee and as it was for a camera i bought the fuji sdhc as advised for it's slightly quicker storage speed.
can't fault it so 5 stars.

I've had this camera, which I ordered from Amazon, since the 19th June 2010, and I think it's wonderful.

I'd recommend it to any serious photographer who wants the versatility of an SLR with the convenience of a compact camera.

It takes brilliant photos.

This is the best camera that I've owned, since the Canon 35mm film SLR camera which I had from 1996 to 2005, when I got my first digital camera. This is my second digital camera.

I love photography and have been doing for years.

Ideal fuji s1500, 2010-07-26
I already own a Fuji S8000FD camera which is excellent. Having read the good reviews I decided to purchase the S1500 for my daughter for a birthday present, she is a keen photographer,and I must say how delighted we/she is with this camera, lots of usable functions which are quick to pick up, excellent pictures with the 10mp.All in all a superb digital camera, well recommended, only grumble is the lens cap is a bit iffy. I would suggest downloading Picaso 3 Photographic programme from the internet to enhance your pictures, the software supplied with the camera is rubbish.

this is a good value 14mp camera which replaced a 12mp Panasonic Lumix camera. Although the build quality feels less, the pictures are actually better in my opinion. Comibined with a movie feature which is very handy and quite good, (you can even zoom while movie recording) this is a compact camera which is worth buying.

fantastic family camera, 2010-06-14
I bought this fuji XP10 as my main family camera and am delighted with it. The quality of pics it takes both above and below water are great for the average person,video quality is also good,sound is slightly muffled but i believe this is almost always the case for waterproof cameras. It has a large,clear display and easy to use buttons. The only problem i have found is the lense being in the top corner instead of in the middle of the camera as you sometimes find the tip of your finger covering the lense! It is small and compact. Would recommend it.
