Average rating of 5/5 Buy genuine batteries!, 2010-02-28
This genuine Panasonic battery holds it's charge for a long time, when not being used. The Inov8 replacement 'equivalent' batteries don't. I know this from bitter experience! The moral of this little tale? Always buy genuine Panasonic batteries, the extra cost is worth it.

Average rating of 5/5 Panasonic Lumix TZ6 Digital Camera, 2010-02-20
Brilliant camera to use when you don't want to carry an SLR. It works as a "point and shoot", if that's what you want. The best feature, I have found, is the macro facility; I can't believe how close you can get and the detail is incredible.

Average rating of 5/5 Great Camera, 2010-01-19
OK So people moan and complain about this using AA Batteries why complain there great better than cameras than come with there own I have a 1 Hour fast battery charger and some rechargable batteries 2800mah which have more power than some cameras with there own batteries and with 12 batteries all charged up in a day.
I can go on a weeks holiday without needing to charge up and 2 batteris will last for ages longer than a cameras with it's own battery so don't think AA's are a bad idea.

And as for the camera it's great exceptional image quality as you would except from a Sony would recomend this one for everyday use.

OK the memory cards which are Memory stick pro duo are bit bit more expensive than SD cards but a 4gb card is arround £20 and will hold arround 900 photos can't see anyone taking that many.

The video is OK not the best quality but ok for say youtube this is not a camcorder so don't expect it to porform like one sony do great camcorders which I have one

And as for the price an excelent price for a camera of this spec and quality a bargin

• Canon Ixus 100 IS 12.2 MP digital camera• Features 3x optical zoom with IS; smart auto mode with scene detection technology; DIGIC 4; motion detection and face detection technologies; 2.5 inch LCD scree
Average rating of 5/5 AN EXCELLENT CAMERA!, 2010-02-22
This is my review of the Canon Ixus 100

THE CAMERAS BODY:

The IXUS range are well known to be sleek and beautiful - this camera really does prove it.
It is also very slim and very small.
Despite this camera being very small, the camera overall feels well built and solid(although the battery cover does feels a bit flimsy, but it's no biggie.
I am a bit disapointed that the camera has only a 33mm wideangle lens with extends to a weedy 3x optical zoom.

THE BACK OF THE CAMERA:

The buttons on this camera are flat and not that big so if you have big fingers it might be a bit hard the use the buttons, I think for most people they will fine.
The camera has a 2.5" LCD screen and above that there is a TINY little viewfinder and you do have to squint a bit to look through it but it's still good for taking pictures in bright sunlight and for saving the battery by turning the LCD screen of and framing for pictures in the viewfinder.

IMAGE QUALITY:

The image quality on this camera is excellent!
The 12.1 megapixel photos it takes look crystal clear and the colours are vivid and natural.
And the 720p HD video is sharp and detailed but sadly you can't use the optical zoom once you've started filming.

ISO PERFORMANCE:

Images remain noise free until ISO 400, after that the images get quite noisy and at the highest ISO, (ISO 3200) images are reduced to 2MP resoulotion and the picture is very fuzzy.

NEW FEATURES:

SMART AUTO MODE: This is where the camera chooses the right settings to suit the scene.
I-CONTRAST: This feature reduces the shadows in the photo so you can see the subject more clearly in tricky light conditions.
BLINK DETECTION: The camera detects when a person has blinked and then it tells you that someone has blinked.
FACE DETECTION SELFTIMER: The camera only fires the shutter when a new face is detected meaning that the photographer does not have to rush to get into the picture.

CONCLUSION:
Overall I think the camera is great and I would defintely recommed to anyone

Average rating of 5/5 EasyShare?.. Very EasyShare!, 2010-02-02
Shipped quickly and well packaged.

This is so easy to load with pictures! There's no USB cable in the box so if you want to hook up directly to a PC/Laptop you'll need to buy one. That said, I just copied picture files onto a memory stick, plugged it in to the frame and copied them onto its own memory. Simple.

You can get around 4000 photos on this frame so I don't think I'll ever fill it up.
The pictures are displayed in bright lovely detail, that said, they'll only be as good as the original photo - out of focus will still be out of focus.

This is my first digital frame and I'm very impressed. If I get another, I can't see a reason not to buy Kodak again.
