Improve your memory!, 2010-08-17
Always a worry that certain memory cards won't work with all devices but based on other people's reviews, I took a chance and it was worth it. I use this in a Zoom R16 mixer / recorder (another great purchase from Amazon) and it works a treat. Have recorded / edited / downloaded over 5 hours of material to date with no problems. So highly recommended and excellent value for money.

A lot better than the Panasonic camcorder bag, 2010-08-28
I bought a Panasonic SD60 high-definition camcorder recently. It's a tiny little thing, and I thought I should buy a suitable case to protect it. I went for the Panasonic case that comes as part of the Panasonic Accessory Kit, which consists of a battery charger, a battery and a quite flimsy case with no external pockets that's not even really the right shape for the camcorder. I was, quite frankly, a bit disappointed.

By contrast, the Amazon base is a lot cheaper, and much better thought out. My SD60 fits vertically inside one end of the main compartment, protected by the velcro-attached internal divider, and there's still loads of space for a compact camera and the camcorder charger. There are little external pockets big enough for spare batteries, and a pocket at the front that seems just right for keeping SDHC cards. All of the pockets are zipped, and the front pocket has a velcro cover too. There's a carrying handle, belt clips that are big enough to attach to a backpack strap, and a webbing shoulder strap with quite rugged plastic clips (which are almost identical to the Panasonic ones). The padding is a lot thicker than the Panasonic bag's.

I'm impressed by the quality of the Amazon Basics range, and this bag is no exception. The five rubber zip handles have "Amazon Basics" on them in orange and white, so if you're into designer labels in a big way, perhaps this bag isn't for you. For the rest of us, it's a pretty good case.

Great camera, 2010-09-01
I bought this as a replacement for another Panasonic camera that was I a year old. This had been dropped and was not worth fixing. I was going to get the same one again but was glad I didn't. I love this camera. The build is good and feels solid. It take beautiful pictres, nice and clear. Lots of different scenes to use and I'm still working some of the features out. I would definately recommend this lovely camera to anyone.

Good value for money, 2010-08-28
I'm very happy with this product. I use it for my digital camera which doesn't accept bigger SD memory cards, therefore the 2GB memory card was the perfect choice for me.
I have used Kingston memory cards for a few years now and I think that their products are great.
I highly recommend this product!

A small minus whould be the delivery date. The card arrived later than it was supposed to, but the seller was very prompt and helpful to answer my queries and advised me to give it a few more days. I am sure stuff like this happens from time to time, after all is not the seller's fault.

Excellent little camera case, 2010-08-27
This is a well-made, tidy little case with a strong and wide belt loop. I can't imagine any belt that wouldn't go through it, unlike some I've had. The camera is well protected and the front fastening is secure.

The only thing it lacks is a wrist strap for those of us who like that as an alternative, but that's a small point.

Digi frame for school display, 2010-08-18
Purchased this frame to hang with school displays to show the process as well as the final product of the children's work. Just need everyone to learn how to work it. Maybe need a training day ;)

In case this info is of value to anyone, I found typical write speeds with multiple files to be around 6-9 MB/s, read speeds around 12-16 MB/s.

For example, writing 167 jpegs totalling 579MB took 66 seconds - 8.77MB/s.
Reading them back took 40 seconds - 14.47 MB/s

Larger files are of course faster:

Writing a single 142MB exe took 12 seconds - 11.83 MB/s.
Reading it back took 6 seconds - 23.66 MB/s

That compares well with real-world speeds I've found with other cards, so I'm a happy customer.
