Well i have done my reaserch and after weeks of deleberating on which frame to buy i chose this sony. its one of the best on the market crystal clear pictures easy to set up/use and at an unbelieveable price quite simply outstanding!!!

Lovely frame - great pictures, 2008-12-28
Received for Christmas, and what a superb frame. It came preloaded with some family pictures so we had it running striaght away. The frame looks better with pictures on fit to frame and the random cycling seems to work best. The pictures are loaded at full resolution so we haven't got the full 1000 on there. Might have to experiment with shrinking the pictures as they seem to repeat far more often than they should. Really easy to add the Christmas pictures from the camera too. Nearly all automatic.

Get one today. Looks just stunning.

This photo frame is excellent value for money. It may not have some of the features you can get on more costly frames, but when you only need to display pictures and can't afford to go out and spend £100s on a gift this frame is ideal. It looks smart too! Especially in white!

I have an older version of this frame myself and purchased this for someone in their 80's as a present. Have plugged in flash drive to usb port and love the quality of the photos , new slideshow features etc. including random slideshow. The touch screen bit works well and once set up and set to a timed slideshow won't need to be messed about with by the owner anyway. Scanned images from pre-digital days display well and I am confident it will be a very well received xmas gift. The most negative review of the product appears to reflect nothing about this frame but everything about the purchaser's annoyance with amazon - not really relevant. Frame is fabby - very happy to give it 5 *****

Exactly What I Wanted, 2009-01-06
Bought this as a Christmas present for my Grandmother, and have had no problems.
Used a Kodak 512 MB SD card, frame picked it up straight away, and starts showing the pictures as soon as it's turned on.
I'd advise either having all of your pictures in the same orientation - landscape or portrait. Quite amusing to find it had stretched the one portrait picture I had included, resulting in my brothers head being chopped off!!
Easy to use, no problems at all. Looks really nice too.

Bought one of these as an Xmas gift for my good lady as we have thousands of digital photos we never see. The set up is easy to do - simple instructions and straightforward controls - very user friendly. provides a good variety of display timings and transition options (we use 10 mins between changes and its just right any more frequent and it's distracting). The Frame works well and accepted an old 512 mb SD card with no problems. Up close - less than 2 feet - the pictures can look a bit grainy; however, when viewed outside that distance you cannot tell the difference from a normal print. In fact, with the frames' normal backlighting the effect is excellent. A number of friends have commented on the frame and 2 have gone as far as buying one - can't give a better recomendation than that. You will not be dissapointed unless you want to view all your pictures from 18 inches away - if that's the case, a digital frame is not for you as they all have a similar issue. My only regret - that I did not buy the 8 or 10 inch version!!

Having returned a different model of a cheaper frame, I ordered the Linx 8" Memoire, and it arrived within a week. The whole family loves it and is impressed with its good looks and cool features. The 800x480 pixel screen gives a sharp hi-def image inside an attractive black/silver frame, and it finds all your files even if your photos/MP3s/movies are hidden deep in folders on a memory stick/card. I particularly liked the movie playback and zoom features. The remote control is super-easy to use, and having an internal battery that charges up means we can easily pass photos around when guests come to visit. This is the frame to go for - very nice kit.

Good budget buy, some nice touches., 2008-11-30
I was looking for a digital frame as a present for my Dad, who finds it very easy to dislike things, especially if he finds them difficult to operate. I decided on this one as it was a known manufacturer, good price and had a remote control. I was a bit sceptical about the picture quality and ease of use, having seen a few less than impressive budget models in the shops. However, on receiving this - amazingly quickly - I was relieved. Nicely made, good picture quality for the family snaps it will be used for, intuitive operation and simple instruction manual. One of the good features not mentioned in other reviews is that to rotate, zoom etc you can either use the remote or press any of the buttons on the back which brings up icons on the screen. You then press the button next to the icon to perform the function, which means you don't keep having to turn the frame over to see what the buttons do, or navigate incomprehensible on-screen menus as in some models I'd tried. Also you can switch it off completely rather than leaving it on standby. All in all really pleased with this frame, hope my dad is too!

A great little frame!, 2008-12-23
I bought this frame for my mum for christmas. I was a little worried about buying one after reading all the different reviews for other frames. Some were good, others not so good. Did quite a lot of research on other brands and in the end plumped for this one. I'm so glad I did! It is SOOOOOOOO easy to use and it looks really nice. I also bought a 2GB card for it and this holds hundreds of photos. As my mum is not technically minded at all this frame is spot on for her - once it's set up (which is so simple to do) that's it! All she has to do is turn it on! A Great buy, great to use and great to look at - now I want one too!
