Fantastic entry level SLR, 2010-02-17 Having used this model at at college I felt it was natural to purchase my own one when I went to university. And I have not been disappointed. It uses 35mm film, and has user friendly automatic controls which make for a perfect picture for those who are not familiar with manual controls, but has fully manual options which allow the user to be more experimental and to practice their photographic skills. It is a workhorse, I have had this camera for almost a year and have shot approximately 150 rolls of film and taken it on many trips with me and it's still going strong, producing perfect results every time.
It has a hot shoe on the top which allows its capabilities to be expanded, adding flash guns and other accessories. It has a self timer mode, which is fantastic for taking self portraits and can be used to cut out camera shake when working with slow shutter speeds or low light. It is compatible with the Canon EF fit lenses, meaning maximum choice of lenses (one of which is included as a secondary zoom lens in this kit)
This is a fantastic camera, which will appeal to new comers to 35mm photography and old hands at it looking to upgrade to a more modern camera with all the quirks of older SLR's. It's light and compact, but large enough to feel like a proper camera; who says size doesn't matter? ;)

Good fun!, 2009-12-30 So polaroid style cameras have their negative sides, but to be honest if your the sort who gets hung up on them then you wont appreciate the pure joy of instant gratification that comes with one of these handy little (or rather large) cameras.
Brilliant for Christmas and NYE just point shoot and then laugh at the fantastically 70's-esc result. Also great if your a student as you can stick the photos up straight away adn the quality isn't bad either! (remeber white tack so as not to mark the walls:)
Really good fun I fully recommend x

This little beauty is the one and only incredible four-lens-photo-photo-photo-photo ActionSampler. Available in three sexy surfaces. With one shot you get a series of four images on one print & a macro-movie to be relished online! Now even more robust, ultra-heated and, in its awesome packaging, the ideal gift.
I thought it would be good, 2008-08-31 The viewfinder isn't very accurate and can result in disappointing prints. In addition, the viewfinder can easily break as it's just a piece of plastic screwed on. The 'scroll' to place the film in is quite flimsy and that can easily get damaged too. Also, you can only take pictures outside as the camera hasn't got a flash function.
