Always use these tapes for my Sony Camcorder. Never had a problem and they are great value when bought from Amazon when you compare with high street prices.

Be careful if you order this, the headline price is only brought down to reality when you finally get to the "place your order" page and find they want 4.50 for delivery to a standard UK mainland address.
For an item this small this is very high, it is cheaper to pick one up from a shop next time you are out and about.

Great value - ideal for Hi8, Digital 8, Video8, 2008-11-03
I bought this pack of three Hi8 tapes for my ageing but still excellent Sony Hi8-XR camcorder, as each tape gives 3 hours continuous recording in LP mode - ideal for recording meetings and lectures, whereas my MiniDV camcorder runs out of tape after 1 hour or 1.5 hours in LP mode. Performance of the tape was faultless and free of dropout as ever, price and delivery excellent.

Prompt delivery by K.K. Electronics so full marks there. As for the quality of the tapes, I think just the name Panasonic would suffice, wouldn't it? Now on to the value bit. I bought this pack of 10 mini dv tapes @ £7 plus £4.50 postage, that's £11.50 delivered, which works out £1.15 per tape, isn't that superb value? Rather than buying 3 or 4 packs (3 tapes in each pack) and paying £4.50 on postage for each, buy this. Also, if you use mini dv tapes of different makes in your camcorder then stay clear of Sony mini dv tapes because they use a wet-type lubricant whereas other mini dv manufacturers use dry-type. I personally have a Panny and only ever use Panny tapes in it.

Just used these tapes for recording mostly indoors.Have been using Sony tapes prior to this.However I can vouch that these tapes have a comparable/or even better recording quality.The recording quality is uniform,which is not something I have seen in the Sony tapes.

Excellent Value!!!, 2008-10-18
These Sony cassettes are of superb quality and the price is absolutely fantastic. I have literally stopped copying data into the hard disk and keep these cassttes instead (soon I might have a heap of them!!)
Fully recommended for the camcorders that use these tapes.
