Camcorder light, 2009-07-21
I bought it 18 months before from Amazon for my Sony HDR- SR1 camcorder but I hardly used it because of the poor results. I originally bought it for my daughter's 1st birthday celebration but found that the amount of light from this device even in full power was not adequate for a small group of people. Finally I bought a workplace spot light with adjustable stand for around £15.00 in Argos that worked very well. Further the quality of the light from this Sony product also was not good and made the video with yellow colouration rather than natural colours! This product made the camcorder more bulky as well as can't hold it properly. This product also too expensive and is not worth for the hardly earned money. I would not recommend this product for big filming like parties or events.

I hardly ever smoke but a lot of the people I usually go for drinks with are smokers. I feel antisocial and wanting a cigarette, especially after I've had a few drinks. I don't want to get too addicted and when I heard about this product it seemed to be a no-brainer. I've yet to test it on a big night out but after an initial test, my first impressions are excellent. The realistic taste and feel of it has reassured me that it's going to work as a healthier alternative and will stop me from smoking the real thing or at least help me cut down! P.S. if your only an occasional smoker or even a non-smoker and aren't that used to the nicotine, I'd recommend going for the zero-nicotine cartridges. They're working for me so far but if not you can always switch to one of the three nicotine strengths.

Bought this product initially to use with my video camera but didn't have any affect, so bought a Sony camera with Night Vision and it works Brilliantly, use it now for our Paranormal investigations. So my advice is only buy this light if you own a Sony and it does exactly as it says.

Poorly made, and not fit for purpose., 2010-07-04
As V. Turner says, it falls apart in your hands. The only way I have found to keep the battery compartment closed is to fix a rubber band around it. The shoe fitting just doesn't fit, and without fresh batteries the light it projects is minimal.
I normally trust Hama to make good products for the price. I don't know what went wrong here.
