This camera is the best i have had, it takes great photo's and records video as well. the quailty is great too. I used it on new years eve for the video and i'm very impressed with it. It takes AA batteries and uses SD cards. Go on buy it you won't be dissapointed

Good product, but short shelf life, 2009-01-07
I bought the C6L chargePAK along with a Pure One for my wife's Xmas present in 2007. This has been a great product and has given her many many hours of company in her vegetable garden. However after just less than a year the chargePAK has died. Whilst I love the convenience of the rechargeable unit, £27+ is a substantial cost for a replacement. I see from other reviews that Pure think this is a reasonable lifetime. How come mobile phone batteries last years? Still undecided as to whether to replace the unit as it does seem a rip-off.

These batteries are great - I combined them with the Duracell Value charger to save money overall and can definitely recommend this method - far better to have great batteries that charge in 6-8 hours than a one hour charger and not such good batteries!!

Never used rechargeable batteries before. Mainly wanted to use with Wii remotes and remote controlled toys. I must say I am pleasantly surprised with them - I looked at cheaper units but decided that I would go with a known brand after reading the reviews.

It appears to charge quickly, 4 AA batteries within an hour (but not totally flat when started). They appear to last for about 4 to 5 hours (used in a remote controlled car and with the Wii) - which I suppose isn't bad when you can just charge them again!

The light indicator on the unit is useful as it changes from red to green (when charged). The trickle charge function (keeps the batteries fully charged) is also a nice touch. It includes a car charger giving a bit more flexibility.

I am now going to buy some more AA and AAA rechargeable batteries (going for high rated mAh as apparently they last longer) as this has got to be a cheaper option than spending pounds on disposables which don't last that long, especially when things get left on.

Found these batteries to be much better than the rivals, when using with my digital camera I rarely need to change them. Also work fine with a different brand of re-charger. I can find very few places to get them other than Amazon.

Cheap at twice the price, 2008-11-22
Duracell must be about to launch a 'new and improved' battery because they seem to be trying to get rid of their old stock. 12 batteries at this price is very reasonable. We've all seen the adverts for these Duracell batteries but they really are as good as the marketing hype. I haven't changed a battery in any clock/TV remote control/camera/keyboard/mouse/torch since February and its now November. Just lucky?
