I just bought my first DSLR (Canon 500D) and this kit was an ideal solution to both protect my camera lens and also to help me to learn more with my camera.

The most useful filters are definitely the CPL and the UV. As I do not normally shoot macro, the close-up filters are not particularly useful for me.

Delivery was very fast. They came in a very handy faux-leather box that keeps the lenses tidy and organised. Big problem was that the lenses were all very dirty and was a pain to get then cleaned!

Overall, this is very good value for money and ideal for DSLR enthusiasts.

The question in the title is tongue in cheek - This is a seriously good product for the price.

I expected the magnifiers to be pretty distorted, obviously they are not going to stand up to a real macro lens, but the quality is actually pretty damn good.

One of the filters by itself could easily costs the price of this kit, and the little leather wallets are brilliant.

It also arrived so fact amazon will not even let me give the seller feedback yet!

I actually expected very little from these at the price, but they are really surprisingly good. Of course the macro attachments can not really compete with a dedicated marco lens, but come on.... at 100th of the price... they work and work very nicely for what they are. I also love the little leather boxes that hold the filters, they are smart and handy and fit perfectly in the side pockets of my bag.

Be very careful when taking the filters out of their wrappers, these have a resealable sticky strip for ease of opening and reclosing, but if you touch the glass with them it's a bit of a pain to get the residue off.

The filters also had a few specs of dust on them - check and remove, preferably with a brush or by blowing them away, especially if you want to leave the filters on the lens as you want the area between lens and filter to be absolutely clean.

Overall one of the best bargains around!

Great Value for money if you want to protect your lens inexpensively. Tried magifiers in combination with tubes and got excellent results, must be used with a tripod
