A neat product - it will probably protect the camera well against shock and of course scratching. And the close fit makes still easy to slip into a pocket or bag - with a belt loop as well if needed. The magnetic 'catch' is disconcertingly gentle, but seems strong.
The delivery charge makes it perhaps slightly pricey. And don't expect it to protect much against water or sand. But I'm glad I bought it.

All I wanted was a general purpose case for my compact new digital camera. At the price the Gem Case has proved to be a more than acceptable choice. I particularly like the magnetic flap securing device. The case itself appears well made and durable, what more do you need!

The reason that I bought my Finepix camera was the slim design that could fit easily into my pockets. All other cases that I looked at were somewhat bulky and consequently defeated the object of why I bought the camera.This case is ideal as it protects the camera and fits tight to the camera without bulking it out. Magnetic catch generally works well, however does sometimes open when not secured exactly by the magnet - hence only 4 stars. It has a belt loop, however I have still to use that facility. I am very happy with my purchase.
