Average rating of 3/5 Good Phone - poor selling, 2010-01-26
The E71 is without a doubt the best phone I have ever used or seen in use. The service from Regenersis was perfectly good, the phone was delivered next day it was in good condition and appeared new.

I am not sure if my beef is with Regenersis or with Amazon so this feedback maybe unfair but here goes. The rating is for the product from a particular spplier NOT for the E71 (I tried entering this as supplier feedback but it was not accepted.

My complaint is that despite the low price for the phone I was expecting a retail boxed product. I have reviewed the product description several times and nowhere does it give any inkling that it might not be.

What arrived was a phone and a battery loosely packed in a generic box.

no charger, no software, no headset and no slip case. The applications installed were the most basic. As it happens I was after a replacement phone and had most of the other items already but that is not the point - I thought I was buying oe thing and got something else.

do not buy from sp computer supplies i never got the item from them and i contcted them with no reply ended up paying the extra few quid and bought the phone off pre pay mania had the phone in my hand within two days fantastic phone well worth the money

Average rating of 5/5 Brilliant!, 2010-01-05
This phone does everything and does it brilliantly. It looks great, it performs well, the battery lasts for several days and it recharges quickly. I never need to buy another phone

Average rating of 5/5 Best phone i have ever had, 2010-06-19
I have used this phone since it was first released, so over 2 years and i have only positive comments to share. This is simply the best phone i have ever used. I would still bring out some cons and pros.

Pros:
* It has really good and solid build quality;
* Symbian is not as bad as they say;
* OK browser;
* Good GPS;
* Best QWERTY-keyboard - really comfortable;

Cons:
* A bit laggy at times;
* Photo quality;

I just wish NOKIA will keep up to the quality and the future products will be as good as this one.

Average rating of 4/5 Trusty old Nokia, 2010-03-19
I bought a couple of these handsets after staff were reporting sluggish response times with Windows Mobile handsets. I considered the iPhone and Google android handsets, but for business use I found the battery life for these new smartphones are just over a day. So this left the good old Symbian Nokia.

I have to say that using the phone is a much better experience than the win-mo handsets because of the much faster response rate. It is like stepping back in time going back from OS-X or Android though. This is mainly due to the unfathomable places some of the phone's settings are. I've found myself buried deep into 6 menus - not good enough for a modern phone operating system I'd say.

So what does the phone major on?

1. Battery life is outstanding - 4 days of normal usage as a business phone is fantastic.
2. Mail for Exchange is good when you've managed to get the thing set up. It will sync everything that a windows mobile phone does (inbox, calendar,tasks, contacts etc). Quickoffice also opens all Word and Excel files no problems and there's also a PDF viewer on there.
3. It's a very quick and responsive operating system.
4. The handset has a quality weight and feel to it that puts it in a class above.
5. Dedicated quick access keys for menu, calendar, contacts and mail.
6. software is available to manage the handset over the air for IT managers.

What's not so good?
1. The camera is really poor - focus rubbish, detailing rubbish - come on Nokia I haven't seen anything this bad since... my last Nokia mobile - sort it out!! A decent lens and ccd please.
2. That Symbian menu system - which is ok when you learn it's little ways, but isn't intuative to start with.

Overall - would recommend - because it ticks all the boxes for a quality business phone and is one you might actually want to live with.

Thanks for reading!
