This case is perfect for my "cut-down" kit. I've a Sony Alpha 550, a Tamron 18-250, a SONY HVL-F20AM Flash, spare battery and SD cards, and they all fit comfortably in the case. I've a LowePro SLINGSHOT 202 AW for when I want to carry the rest of my lenses and my bigger flash, but for when I'm traveling light with my walkabout kit, this SOny case is absolutely perfect. I used to have a no-brand cheapo case, but the 550 wouldn't fit in it with the 18-250 mounted - I took a chance that this case would fit it, and it paid off. The case is very well made, and offers good, sturdy protection, with a zipped pocket each side for accessories.

Excellent because it holds all one needs for a photo shoot. The case is resilient and easily carriable; it is well padded to protect the camera from mishaps. Nothing but praise for this case.

Well made and well padded but I find it exceptionally bulky considering it holds just one camera. The two side pockets are of little use apart from a pencil and filter. A bag which would hold the camera plus one lens or flash would be far more use and I suspect be little larger. I would urge people study other bags before purchase

Yes this fits my Alpha A200 camera and proprietary lense perfectly. But as soon as you get another lens which as you get into DSLR photography you're bound to do, it's useless! No space for my new Sony 300mm zoom lens attached to camera. Also feel it's overpriced for what you get. If you're into DSLR phtography, even if you have just one lense at the moment, get a bigger carry bag, you won't regret it in the long run.

Very happy with the bag. Nice and compact for everyday carrying. Not a lot of room for spare lens etc. if you'd like to carry/store any.
Just looked at other (non branded) bags though and have found what appears to be an identical bag, (without the sony branding) for just £12. How much is that sony branding/reassurance worth to you???
