Having used Sandisk for a long time now, I wouldn't use any other.
They are ultra reliable and I have never had a problem of any sort.
They also provide a carrying pouch with the more expensive cards, 4gb and upwards, which certainly is very useful.

What's to say, I've never been let down or lost an image when I've been using Sandisk Extreme III cards, you can't ask for better.

No moving parts so not a lot to say. I own 8 of these, they are in regular use in a Canon 40D and a 400D. I find them fast enough to keep up with continuous shooting (for the burst length that I need), and very reliable.

Purchased this card approx 30 months ago. Used about a dozen times with no problems but on my last photo session the card developed an error... A rescue disk was supplied with the card but this just flagged up a major error.
I guess all my photos on that card are now lost for good.
Have written to Sandisk with details about date of purchase etc so it will be interesting to see what their response is... I may be mistaken but seemed to remember the guarantee is quite long on these cards.
Fortunately the photos were of the Lake district which I can easily visit again, had this been a wedding or a trip abroad it would have been quite upsetting.
